Texas Agriculture Scholarships

Students who are persuing studies in farming and other areas agriculture should be aware of the scholarships which are available. Scholarships are available from the Texas Farm Bureau, Future Homemakers, Future Farmers of America and 4-H Clubs.

Glaser Foundation Spring Scholarships for Texas Students

The Glaser Family Charitable Foundation is currently accepting scholarship applications for the Spring 2006 semester until the deadline date of October 14, 2005.

Applicants may be high school seniors or currently enrolled college students with a 2.0 GPA and above. At least 80% of the scholarships will be awarded to students from Fannin County, Texas.

Scholarships for Midland Odessa Texas Area Students

The Permian Basin Area Foundation offers a variety of academic scholarships to help students graduating from high schools and/or attending colleges in the region. Students attending high school in Midland, Odessa, and many rural counties in west Texas may qualify for these scholarships.

There are college scholarships available for students from the following Texas counties: Andrews, Borden, Brewster, Cochran, Coke, Crane, Crockett,
Culberson, Dawson, Ector, Gaines, Garza, Glasscock, Hockley, Howard, Hudspeth, Jeff Davis, Kent, Loving, Lynn, Martin, Midland, Mitchell, Pecos, Presidio, Reagan, Reeves, Scurry, Sterling, Upton, Ward, Winkler and Yoakum.
