Orgegon Scholarships - Deadline March 1
Oregon Student Assistance Commission scholarships are now available and deadlines are fast approaching. Scholarships are for Oregon residents attending state colleges.
The commission administers a number of privately funded scholarships such as the Ford Family Foundation, the Oregon Community Foundation, U.S. Bank, Wells Fargo Bank, and Bank of America. One application form will submit the student for consideration to more than 300 scholarships.

Newport Oregon Financial Planning Workshops
Newport High School will hold a “Making College Financial Planning Count Program” on Dec. 7, and a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) Workshop on Dec. 12. Both programs will begin at 7 p.m. in the Newport High Boone Center and last for one hour. All parents of students in grades 9 through 12 are welcome.
Portland State University Scholarships
PSU offers a variety of scholarships for students including awards based upon field of study. Other awards are based upon encouraging underrepresented groups. Scholarships for students of Native American and Hispanic heritage are available and have a deadline of July 29th.
