FreeScholarshipGuide Winner Summer ‘05
Amanda Bonin of Duson, LA was awarded a $5,000 scholarship from FreeScholarshipGuide earlier this summer. Amanda is enrolled in American Intercontinental University with a major in Business Administration.
Amanda’s Essay:
I have applied for this scholarship for a number of reasons. I will begin with the most important reason first—so that I could afford to go to school. I have a beautiful son and a daughter is on the way. My children mean the world to me and I want to be able to offer them the world. I cannot do this without an education. I am working towards an Associates Degree in Business Administration. I currently have a 4.0 grade point average and I’ve already earned 44 credits. I want to be able to offer my kids the things I did not have in life. I am willing to work as hard as I possibly can to make sure of that. Going to school is an important step in a person’s life. It takes self-control and discipline. While attending school, I will make it a point to be the best that I can be. With this additional assistance, it will allow me to go beyond the stars.
