Do you remember learning your ABCs as a child — that proud day when you finally could sing the “Alphabet Song” all the way through? Once you learned these letters, they became useful tools for you, and odds are that you don’t even have to sing the song anymore to remember them. Well, it’s time to learn a new alphabet, and unfortunately there’s no cute tune to help you remember it. Eventually, however, just as you learned the regular letters, you’ll develop a comfort level with FAFSA, SAR, EFC and PIN — acronyms that are part of the financial aid alphabet.
