Michigan Merit Scholarship Changes

Source: Central Michigan Life - The Michigan Merit Scholarship currently awards $2,500 to first year college students. The proposed changes to the program would instead give $4,000 to students after two years of college work. The changes could be difficult for freshmen, but would help continuing students and provide an alternative to loans.
